I didn’t think I’d see any of the previous Meridian members collaborate with H or the rest of the Bloodline camp after H’s interview on Logan Sama’s show in February.

Brandon Jennings, the player that impressed me the most during the 2008 McDonald’s All American Game did end up entering the NBA today. After playing ball for Lottomatica Roma in the Italian Lega A instead of going to college (and not putting up high numbers while there) I figured he’d get slept on, but Milwaukee took him at the 10th spot in the draft. He’s the first player to go from high school into Euro ball due to the newly set age limitations in the NBA. I might have to stream a few Bucks games next season …
And don’t talk to me about the Knicks and Curry situation.
I don’t feel like Pabs has proved himself worthy yet, but H’s Street Crime mixtape is one of my most anticipated releases of the summer and I’m hoping it doesn’t continue to get pushed back.

I found the recent political protests inspiring.

A king from Queens passed away yesterday, just giving my regards to one of the bombing pioneers. I really regret missing the exhibition he held in the Bronx on June 12th.
The French New Wave is one of my favorite film movements and this ranks as one of my preferred offerings from the genre. I have the itch to sit through a marathon of films, but unfortunately not the time.

Looked around my collection the past couple of days for these remixes and original Buckwild productions. Finally found ‘em, here’s a taste of some of the lesser known artists on the compilation …
AK Skills – Nights of Fear
Ill Biskits – A Better Day
Reservoir Doggs – The Difference
A glimpse into an era that many New Yorkers seem to long for.
There should be more of a buzz around this emcee.

Had more than a good time at the Subway Art opening, and felt the need to share some images from this lost era. I’d like to eventually make a post of all Min RTW flicks, he’s one of my favorite writers and I feel like he’s not talked about enough nowadays.
